No Minimum Deposit or Account Balance Brokers Some brokerage companies have very high minimum initial deposit and balance requirements. For instance, Fidelity requires a $2,500 minimum deposit to open a new brokerage account. TradeStation requires $5,000 for non-daytraders and $25,000 for day-traders to start trading. To open an account and keep it open, we require an initial deposit of $5.00, so that first deposit is on us. When you joined Alliant, we automatically deposited that amount in your account. Initial Deposit means the initial deposit by the Depositor and the Administrative Agent of the aggregate sum of $1,000 into the Down Trust in connection with the formation thereof.
